vSubst is a free to use software, which can assign drive letter to any local folders on a Windows computer, thus allowing you to turn the folder into a virtual drive.
The substitutions are removed when Windows shuts down, however, you can make a substitution persistent by hitting the Persistent button which will result in vSubst.exe to be copied to Windows folder.
