PDF file encapsulates text, image to a binary format file in order to make it portable and prevent content being stolen. That’s quite perfect for transferring data via the network or protects your content. However, sometimes you just want to extract some images from a PDF file and this job takes pretty times of you. By manually, you can capture the screen, then use a photo editor to make an image. Nevertheless, the image will be in low quality. So using a tool exclusive for this job is a perfect choice until now.
Some PDF Image Extract is a free, small and absolute easy to use even you are a novice user. Just open a PDF file to extract, then click on the black triangle at the bottom left of the window. This small tool will extract all image from that file to an output folder (by default, it is the same folder to the PDF file). Now, you just open that folder, choose the image you want. That’s pretty easy!
Moreover, you can extract images from many PDF files of a folder. Instead of open a single file like I tell you above, now you open a folder (or press Ctrl + D), then choose your folder and select or unselect a file to open by clicking on the red letter X beside the filename.
You can also configure some options of this tool to fit your need:
- Open Result: automatically open the folder which extracted images are saved to.
- Output Directory: tell the software which directory you want to save extracted images to.
- Output Mode: choose the graphic format of extracted images (Some PDF Image Extract support a wide range of graphic format: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PBM, PNG, PPM, TGA, TIFF)
- JPEG Quality and JPEG Gray Scale: choose the quality level of your extracted images (just for JPEG format)
